The central location of our chalet allows many possibilities for recreation activities. Next to various sports, you can explore the surrounding area with our rental bicycles. Well-developed hiking trails lead you through the beautiful landscape of the Bavarian Oberland. In addition to sporting activities, we can recommend cultural highlights in the surrounding area.  The S-Bahn and the regional train BOB, which can be reached in a few minutes by foot from the hotel, offer transportation to Munich, Rosenheim, Salzburg, Tegernsee, Schliersee, Bayrischzell.

Starting point is directly at the hotel. Carried by hot air, you hover over the foothills of the Alps and enjoy the view of mountains, lakes and villages. Alternative starting points are in the area of Holzkirchen, Rosenheim, Baiernrain or Sachsenkam near Bad Tölz, depending on the wind.

A true golf paradise – one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany on one hundred and fourty hectares. Most of the courses lead through the 19th-century castle grounds, with huge pines, spruce trees and over two hundred-year-old oaks. The numerous ponds, watercourses and biotopes of Schloss Maxlrain create a true natural paradise. The course is extremely challenging. Beginners can also learn golf on a 9-hole short course.

Chiemsee

DOGS SLEDDING

If you want to feel the freedom of the musher and the power of dog-drawn sleds, we will be glad to organize it for you. After a brief introduction, you will guide the sledge yourself and experience an extraordinary sleigh ride.

In the period from May to October the dogs have earned their summer break.
